SWALLT, in conjunction with UCLA, is hosting a one-day mini-conference on November 16, 2024, on the UCLA campus.

We will be exploring how literacy practices intersect with language education. Key themes to include digital literacies, multimodal communication, and the role of cultural and social contexts in language learning.

We are seeking presenters to share research, strategies, and practical approaches to foster multi-literacy development in language learners. Each presenter will have 15 minutes, with time left over for questions and discussion. Presenters will be grouped into blocks of three (group registration is encouraged) and should be made in English.
