In the vein of the most recent messages on the listserv, I’m considering proposing a panel on using technology to enhance students’ career readiness and global competency. Of course, this is all in an L2 context. Examples of practices might include technology to support students in their acquisition of digital literacy in a specific field or career, presentation skills, organizational (workplace) culture and technologies, international and intercultural awareness and simulated experiences, preparation for study abroad and post-abroad experiences, and technology for career-specific language skills or fields (medical, engineering, etc.).
