Hi Russ,

Read & Write is an option.  It can be used in several languages.  This is one version specifically for dyslexia, but there's a chrome extension as well.

https://www.dyslexic.com/product/read-write-gold-for-windows-dsa/

Chrome ext:  https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/readwrite-for-google-chro/inoeonmfapjbbkmdafoankkfajkcphgd?hl=en-US

There's also Immersive Reader:  https://www.windowscentral.com/how-microsofts-immersive-reader-tackles-dyslexia-head-and-wins

Immersive reader is automatically embedded into Flipgrid as well!!  (https://blog.flipgrid.com/news/immersivereader)

Hope this helps!!  Let me know if you have any questions.

Subject: [LLTI] Tools for supporting Second Language Learning and Dyslexia

Hello all,

We are investigating resources/tools that world language instructors on our campus could use to assist students with dyslexia. I've done some digging via search engines and found some good articles on strategies (including this online instructor training course https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/dyslexia), as well as a font plugin for Moodle (which I plan to test once it's installed next week). The other tools that I found were either for young learners and/or for English learners.

Any suggestions for tools/ideas/strategies would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

-Russ
