Hi all,
I wanted to make a plug for this month's webinar because I think it will be really useful to lots of people. I have noticed that campuses seem to be employing more and more positions that are "instructional designer" or something similar, and I have also noticed that sometimes faculty and instructional designers have challenges working together. So I asked some people who are used to having those roles work together on a regular basis to provide some best practices. So, I'm hoping that if you are faculty, you will be able to get some tips about how to take advantage of the support staff that is on your campus (and maybe give people in those roles some feedback about your needs), and I'm hoping that if you are support staff, you can communicate with others about what services are available and how to better work together. Hope to see you there! Details below!

Join us on January 16th for an exciting webinar on Collaboration!

Instructional designers are becoming more common in education in recent years, and many language centers or IT units employ instructional designers or support staff in similar roles. Collaboration between these support staff and faculty or subject matter experts is integral for successful curriculum innovation, but comes with unique challenges. Presenters Carly Lesoski and Erica DeSousa will outline best practices for these collaborations to ensure a successful process and end product.
