Dear Colleagues,

We at the Language Center would like to present Harvard students with an in-person language exchange opportunity, and I’m looking for ideas of how best to do this. I think the best option in terms of privacy and ease-of-use is a searchable database accessible only to those with Harvard credentials. Students would log in, fill out a form, and then be able to find email addresses of students they’d like to meet. We use OpenScholar for our website, and there is no obvious tool for this. I’m hesitant to link a simple spreadsheet, though this may be the best option for a “pilot.” Is there something I’m not thinking of? I’ve also just contacted Todd Bryant of the Mixxer to see if he has some ideas. Thanks in advance for your help!

Best,

Mary
