IALLT 2019 ELECTIONS
Candidate Statements
Dear IALLT Members,
It is time to choose new officers to lead IALLT for the next two years! I am pleased to present the slate of candidates for the IALLT 2019 elections. The candidates have impressive backgrounds and varied experiences, all of which could serve IALLT well. So IALLT members can get to know the candidates better, short background and vision statements for each of the candidates are provided on the IALLT website: https://iallt.wildapricot.org/page-1846438. It is undoubtedly an exciting pool of candidates to choose from to lead IALLT!
There will also be an online Q&A webinar to be held in February 2019 with the candidates running for the president-elect position. The date and time of that meeting with the candidates will be publicized to IALLT members. A recording of that webinar and conversations with other candidates will be made available to all IALLT members. Voting will take place in February 2019 via electronic ballots emailed to all IALLT members. Voting will be limited to IALLT members. An email with instructions will be sent to all current members. So, please make sure that your IALLT membership is current! To verify your IALLT membership status, go to http://iallt.org/about/membership/ and follow the appropriate links. If you have specific questions to pose to candidates or about the IALLT 2019 elections, please contact Sangeetha Gopalakrishnan, Election chair at sangeetha@wayne.edu or 313-577-6391.
